The NIBIB Grant Writing and Review Workshop will be held as a part of the 2007 Summer Bioengineering Conference on June 21, 2007, in Keystone, CO. The workshop is open to all SBC meeting participants and is intended to provide an overview of the NIH application, review, and grant-making processes.

The first part of the program will consist of short presentations by NIBIB staff on current funding opportunities, grant-writing tips, and the grant review process. This forum will also present an opportunity for a question-and-answer session with NIBIB staff.

The second part of the program will be a hands-on grant review session and will be limited to 100 pre-registered participants. In this smaller break-out session, mentors and small teams of participants will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of actual grant proposals.

There is no registration fee for this workshop, but the grant review session will be limited to the first 100 pre-registered participants, as space is limited. If you wish to participate, please register now. You will be notified via email when your registration has been accepted.

Please contact Mr. Todd Merchak (merchakt@mail.nih.gov) for questions regarding the workshop.
