The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB), National Institutes of Health (NIH), is sponsoring the "Annual NIBIB Grantee Meeting" on November 2, 2007, at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda in Bethesda, Maryland. The meeting is for grantees who have active grants that were received in response to one of the following 2003 RFAs:

• Operation of Sensors In Vivo
• Development of Advanced Biomaterials
• Research Opportunities in Tissue Engineering
• Image-Guided Interventions
• Systems and Methods for Small-Animal Imaging
• Research Methods for Cellular and Molecular Imaging
• Development of Novel Drug and Gene Delivery Systems and Devices
• Low-Cost Medical Imaging Devices

The goals of this meeting are to create a forum for the grantees:

• to discuss and present progress on their research,
• to meet other NBIIB grantees for potential future collaborations, and
• to interact with the NIBIB staff.

The 1-day meeting will follow a format similar to previous meetings. All grantees are to choose either a poster or podium presentation and are required to submit an abstract following their online registration. Registration and abstracts are due no later than COB October 19, 2007.

When you register, you will be provided with a registration code that must be used to submit your abstract, either on the same day that your register or at a later date.

If you choose to present a PowerPoint presentation, please send the presentation to Ms. Katie Serrano at serranok@mail.nih.gov by COB October 26, 2007.
