The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) leads the development and application of innovative technologies that apply to a broad range of diseases and organ systems. The institute also offers training programs for scientists and engineers who are at the crossroads of the biological and physical sciences. With the goal of speeding the pace of discovery and development of new technologies, the NIBIB continues to improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of multiple diseases and to significantly improve the lives of patients.

NIBIB will be celebrating 10 years of biomedical technology innovation with a dinner on June 21 and an anniversary symposium on June 22. An exciting line up of distinguished speakers in academia, industry, government, and the media includes:
